From Summer to Winter Over Night!

Biking in the mud!

This March has been totally different from what I am normally used to. The last few weeks have been filled with out door climbing and mountain biking. It has been warmer than it would be in Finland during a regular summer. Last Friday the temperature climbed as high as +22 degrees. All in all, my brains has slowly switched into the summer mode. Climbing is completely new for me and I enjoy the unlimited challenges when trying to achieve the anchor a top of a line. The possibilities close Innsbruck are amazing. The same goes with mountain biking: I have been rather scared while riding down the trails on my XC bike.

First time leading an outdoor route!

Last Saturday everything changed. During the day wind gained strength and pushed a totally different system to the alps. Saturday evening the temperature had dropped by 20 degrees and wet snowflakes where falling from the skies. We were extremely stoked for the Sundays trip to Iscghl. We were heading for the nice tree zone that we saw last time. The day turned out to be extremely rewarding. We were focusing in skiing fun interesting lines and enjoying the snow. The snow was sitting on top of grass and I kept touching the base briefly every second turn. The outcome of the day was an interesting piece of art. Have a look and let us know how you like the slow-mo edit!
